John was born in Springfield, MO and finally landed in Salina, KS where he completed all 12 years of school.  He then graduated from 3 years 9 months 2 days (and 4 hours) of military service in the Air Force, and then attended Wichita State University for one year.  John pursued various businesses from restaurant ownership and drywall subcontracting, finally surrending to God's pursuit for his life, to live 24/7 for God, and serving Him through singing, teaching, preaching, youth ministry and finally as associate pastor at Ninnescah Baptist Church in Clearwater, KS.  In 1998 he was asked to be Senior Pastor at Mid Valley Church.  He completed his Bachelors of Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary in 2001.  John is married to Beth, with two grown sons, one living in Oregon and the other in Arkansas, with three grandchildren.
